Honda Prologue Performance
The Honda Prologue comes with two powertrain options. Honda has not announced the exact numbers for the standard rear-wheel drive model. The available dual-motor, all-wheel drive model will produce 288 horsepower. In terms of electric charge, It will come with an 85-kWh battery pack and fast-charging capability of up to 155 kW. When you plug your Honda Prologue into a fast charging station, you can add 65 miles of range in 10 minutes.
Honda Prologue Range Details
Currently, Honda has yet to release an official statement on the Prologue's range. However, according to them, the model is estimated to reach around 300 miles. This makes sense as the Prologue uses GM's new Ultium battery, and models like the Chevy Blazer EV get around 247 miles of range. While other GM models with the same battery offer between 290 and 320 miles, respectively. This combined with what we know about the all-wheel drive model, the Prologue can output 288-horsepower and 333 lb.-ft of torque with around 300 miles of range. This is an impressive combination for a EV SUV.
Honda Prologue Trim Levels
The Honda Prologue has five trim levels for customers to consider:
- Honda Prologue 2WD EX: The base Honda Prologue trim comes with Google built-in, Blind Zone Steering Assist, and a Wireless Phone Charger.
- Honda Prologue AWD EX: Same features as the Honda Prologue 2WD EX, with the addition of dual motors with all-wheel drive and 288 horsepower.
- Honda Prologue 2WD Touring: Adds a leather-trimmed interior, a Bose® Premium 12-speaker audio system, and front and rear parking assist.
- Honda Prologue AWD Touring: Same features as the Honda Prologue 2WD Touring, with the addition of dual motors with all-wheel drive and 288 horsepower.
- Honda Prologue AWD Elite: Adds 21-inch aluminum alloy wheels, heated and ventilated front seats, and a head-up display.
Honda Prologue Interior
When you climb inside a Honda Prologue, expect to be impressed by how roomy it is. The two-row SUV has a 121.8-inch wheelbase, which is longer than the Honda Odyssey minivan. The long wheelbase coupled with the five-seat setup means the Honda Prologue has a tremendously spacious cabin. With 136.9 cubic feet of interior volume, there is plenty of space for five passengers to stretch out and get comfortable. When you need to transport your belongings, you can find 25.2 cubic feet of cargo volume behind the rear seats and 57.7 cubic feet of cargo volume with the rear seats folded down. An available power tailgate makes it easier to access the back of the vehicle to load and unload cargo.
Honda Prologue Technology
When stepping into the cabin of the Prologue, Corvallis and Dallas drivers will find a wealth of technology to enjoy. The Honda Prologue infotainment system is anchored by a dual-screen setup. An 11-inch digital instrument cluster shows important driving information with crisp, clear graphics. An 11.3-inch infotainment touchscreen display makes it easy to control vehicle settings, navigation, audio, apps, and more. Google built-in comes standard, and includes Google Maps for navigation, Google Assistant for hands-free help, and Google Play for access to your favorite apps. Standard wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ let you connect your smartphone to the infotainment system. A head-up display is available, but only on the top-spec Elite trim.
The Honda Prologue also comes standard with an impressive selection of driver assistance features, so you can always feel safe on the road. All Prologue models will come with a suite of driver-assistance features called Honda Sensing. Standard forward collision warning alerts you if the system detects a potential collision before it happens. Standard automatic emergency braking can apply the brakes to prevent a collision. Standard lane-departure warning alerts you if the vehicle begins to leave the lane without a turn signal being activated. Standard lane-keeping assist can gently steer your vehicle back into the lane if needed. Standard adaptive cruise control lets you maintain a set distance behind a vehicle ahead of you.
