The 2016 Honda Civic represents the 10th generation of the venerable compact sedan, which originally came to the U.S. in 1973. The all-new Civic Touring model is more powerful, comfortable, spacious, fuel-efficient and stylish, and overall a terrific choice for anyone seeking a great value in the compact category, says Tom Voelk, auto writer for The New York Times, in a new review. Voelk notes the Civic Touring features new technology that wasn't even available in the Accord a few years ago, including adaptive cruise control, auto braking and an aggressive assist system to keep the car in lanes. It's also wired for Apple Car Play and Android Auto.
The Civic Touring has a 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder engine that generates 174 horsepower and 162 pound-foot of torque on standard-grade gas.
