The recall in question concerns the Honda Odyssey minivan from the 2007 and 2008 model years, of which there are about 344,187 units. If this describes a vehicle you or someone in your home owns, please read on.
Honda is issuing the recall in regards to an issue with the brakes. A combination of parts and software problems has resulted in some models suddenly and unexpectedly braking hard while driving, without any brake light illumination. This drastically increases the risk of accident both for the passengers and for any vehicles behind the Odyssey.
