Every year for the last four years, the Green Car Report has been a go-to guide for consumers in the market for eco-friendly models. And as such, we here at Honda of Salem in Salem, OR always check to see if any of our highly efficient Honda new model lineup members have been included on the list. There's usually at least one Honda represented there, and this year is no different, as the Honda Accord Hybrid has been named the Best Car to Buy by the Green Car Report after they tested every hybrid model on the market today.
To test the model, the editors of the Green Car Report took it on a 480 mile test drive throughout New England. And they were incredibly pleased with how the model drove. They noted that the model felt more responsive than most other hybrid models that they tested, but that the engine was still quite smooth in its transitions between electric and gasoline power, and that the acceleration was smooth as well.
